Artwork specifications
- Artwork base must be configured to fit existing ArtSpot planter armatures (detailed specification diagram)
- Artworks should be no larger than 48″ in height and 36″ wide
- Preference will be given to artworks that are light enough to be moved by two people without additional equipment
- Works must be highly durable and able to withstand cold, temperature fluctuations, wind, ice, and snow. Surface finish should be resistant to graffiti and easy to clean/maintain.
- Flowers will be installed around the base of the artwork during summer months, so artwork should be impervious to regular waterings.
Proposal materials
Please title documents according to the following convention: Lastname_doctitle_01
- Artist statement (max 2000 characters)
- Artist resume/CV
- Artwork information: Title / Media / Dimensions / Weight / Finish
- Artwork installation requirements
- Renderings or images of proposed work(s)
Eligibility
You may submit a proposal if you are:
- A visual artist who creates original work
- A Colorado resident
