ABOUT ARTSPOT
The sidewalks of Downtown Colorado Springs see thousands of passersby on a weekly basis, but from February through April, the three-foot flowerpots that line those sidewalks remain undecorated and unplanted.
ArtSpot was launched in 2017 to enhance the pedestrian experience by filling Tejon Street’s flowerpots with cheery, locally-made works of art from February-November.
Each of the 21 sculptures in the ArtSpot exhibit is the work of a Pikes Peak Region artist, and many works depict local flora, landmarks or other aspects of the Colorado experience.
