Getting Around

Downtown Colorado Springs is comprised of nearly 90 blocks, easily walkable and accessible by car or bike. Located just off Interstate 25, Downtown is accessible by the Bijou and Cimarron Street/Highway 24 exits. As well, the city’s public transportation hub is located within the heart of Downtown.

Connected to several parks and trail systems, those inclined toward a more active lifestyle can walk, bike, or run to and from the city center. Two major urban trail systems – the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail and Shooks Run Trail – make up the Legacy Loop system surrounding Downtown, providing connectivity for commuting as well as recreation.
