People-Centered Film Festival On Saturday, July 26, the first-ever People-Centered Film Festival will bring together neighbors, advocates, artists, and everyday movers to explore how we shape and are shaped by the places we live.
This unique, community-rooted event will feature inspiring short and feature-length films from the Better Cities Film Festival and other creators, focusing on housing, placemaking, pedestrian life, and joyful, car-lite living. Through stories, panels, and shared experiences, we’ll delve into what it means to belong in public space and explore ways to restore dignity and connection in the way we navigate our cities.
This festival supports the work of Bike Colorado Springs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safer, more accessible streets for people of all ages and abilities.
